NIFT – National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (Pvt.) Limited Fintec has a joint venture agreement with NIFT. NIFT was incorporated in September 1995 as a joint venture between a consortium of six major banks and entrepreneurs from the private sector in Pakistan. NIFT is licensed as a PSO and PSP operator to provide an electronic platform for clearing cheques, processing, routing and switching of electronic transactions. They are responsible for the provision of Public Key Infrastructure and issuance of digital certificates to promote sound financial transactions within Pakistan and are the largest clearing house in Pakistan. Fintec transacts all payments through NIFT using Fintec’s software applications.
